I bought this coral a few days ago, polyps came out and it was beautiful, then it closed up shortly after. Today it has barely opened.

water quality is good and has been consistent:
ammonia 0
Nitrites and nitrates 0
Ph 8.0
Calcium 400
Alkalinity 7.8
Salinity 1.025
Temp 77.9
Any thoughts?
All other coral doing well.

is it a captive bred or wild? Captive bred has better hope of survival but I've had them all die on my for no apparent reason on multiple occasions. This much I do know.....once they start going downhill, they rarely come back. If it opens again...and check at night...see if you can feed it reefroids. or other very small coral food. If you can get them eating...they stand a better chance. Also they don't like strong current blowing on them.
