I have an ongoing battle with aptasia which is not severe (I find 3-4 at a time). I treat with aptasia F with some success but they still manage to grow back. I’m all for natural remedies and was thinking about getting a filefish. My tank is a 40g breeder with LPS (acans, hammer coral, torch coral), one birds nest coral, one chalice, and softies like mushrooms and zoas. I also have rock flower anemones which are one of my favorite parts of the the tank. For fish, it’s two clownfish, one chromis, one Midas Blenny, one diamond goby, and a royal gramma. Finally, I have a harlequin shrimp. Based on my inhabitants and tank size, would a filefish be a good addition? Nipping on corals or the flower anemones would be a nonstarter. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
