I just added sand to my display yesterday and began filling the tank with water. I used Carib Sea live sand and added the clarifying agent that they included with the bag. I’m want to start my cycle, and plan on using Fritz Turbostart 900. Will the clarifying agent that I added to the tank yesterday kill the bacteria I add with Fritz? I suppose not since it’s included with a live sand product claiming to have live bacteria.

You should be fine. I did the same thing once my water cleared up.

I would remove or clean your filter floss or whatever you have in the top level of your filter(s) first, the clarifier binds all the sand particles so they can be filtered out, so it has probably coated the top of your filter media.
