It will take a small hit but will recover. I have a therapeutic level copper tank right now full of live rock that I feed heavily without ammonia issues.

just know that the rock with absorb copper so when you’re dosing, check levels frequently. Once you're stable, it will stay stable because the live rock buffers with copper.

Ok thanks all I ended up putting a. New piece of live rock in my frag tank
Yes I've had live sand and live rock in treatment tanks with copper safe and it did its job kept the ammonia nitrate levels down did not die off
