Will Halloween hermits murder something they can't fit into the shell of?

I'd like to keep a Halloween hermit in my upcoming tank. I already have two scarlet reef hermits, and one orange and black hermit, which I believe is the same species as a left-handed hermit. I don't want them to get slaughtered. Will the Halloween hermit leave them alone?

Also, how much meaty, non-algae food will a Halloween hermit need to keep it from eating snails? Not planning on any snails that would be of an appropriate size and shape for it to live in the shells, just smaller ones. I assume they have some basic understanding of "this shell is way too small for me to fit into".

These guys are great, I have had varied hermits for about 6 months in a 200ltr aquarium, I have dwarf red legged, electric blue, dwarf blue legged, metallic blue, I have never had any problems with my Halloween hermit, I provide plenty of shells for hermits to move into and also provide a clip with seaweed weekly, I think as long as you have enough shells for them to move into they will be fine, I also have a conch snail that I think my Halloween my go after so I provided bigger shells just incase :) :)
