Woah, I mean ... It was a hitchhiker... do you think it may not be a zoa?Zoas reproduce by budding, and a single one will grow a colony (hence why they are sold as a single one on a plug often).
That actually reminds me of a mojano anemone though due to the fat tentacles. Similar to aptasia but not as ugly.
I saw a thread on zoas splitting and having 2 mouths. Perhaps it is just a rare occurrenceNot sure what you mean by split. But basically they will just bud another polyp off of the main one. They don't really have a 'foot' like anemones do but they do form a mass of tissue that they are attached to.
It looks like it could be something else. More pictures could helpWoah, I mean ... It was a hitchhiker... do you think it may not be a zoa?

I've had this thing for 3 months minimum ... how long would it remain a single polyp if mojano vs zoa vs random other item?agree not a zoa. Looks like a majano, take it out now before it takes over your tank lol
It’s not a zoa. Not sure on how fast they spread but ones it spreads you won’t like it lol, it’ll sting your corals.I've had this thing for 3 months minimum ... how long would it remain a single polyp if mojano vs zoa vs random other item?
Would a peppermint shrimp deal with it? I don't have any zoas or anenomes aside from thatIt’s not a zoa. Not sure on how fast they spread but ones it spreads you won’t like it lol, it’ll sting your corals.
