I'm building a 150 gal aquarium (http://www.scaquariums.com/SCA-150-Gallon-Starfire-Tank-p/sca-150g.htm) over on the third floor of a building. Will it probably hold? I don't know which way the joists run, but there's a set of vents on the floor above that seem to be running perpendicular to the direction I'd like to place the tank. The tank would be placed next to a wall, though unsure if it would be a load-bearing one (it's on the other side of the wall of the kitchen/living room divider.)

I imagine this aquarium will be setup here for around 2-3 years at most.

Consult with a reputable contractor or structural engineer. The direction the vents are running has nothing to do with the joists.

Do you have pictures of where the tank will go and the space below it?
