Was skimmerless for a while but nutrients are climbing and gha is a PITA
Your better off with Chemipure Blue or other carbon based media. Skimmers are 30% effective at removing TOC while the media is 60-80% effective. Benefits are no skimmate, no skimmer cleaning, and just throw away media every 6-12 weeks.

Most likely phosphate for GHA...refugium is best for nutrient uptake and removal.
