Looking to purchase the vectra s2 return pump for my IM lagoon 50 gal aio.
The return pump width is 3.8, the width of the sump area in the tank is 3 inch & 7/8 in width. Would this pump fit?

No, it’s too close for comfort IMO and this is why... 3-7/8“ is 3.875“. Fitting a 3.8” wide pump into a 3.875” space sounds to me like a recipe for a lot of noise due to vibration.

Thanks. Glad I didn't impulsively purchase it. You saved me some $ which goes a long way in this hobby

Though not as sexy, take a look at the Tunze 1073.050 DC pump. It’s only 2.9” (75mm) wide. Since you’re using in an AIO with less than a 16” head height, it will provide you with more than enough flow.
