Hey!

I have a ~250l system (70g) with following measurements of display: 3ft length, 2ft width and 16 inch height. I have a lot of open swim room and a fair bit of caves/hiding areas.

I currently have:
2x Clowns
1x Tailspot
1x Clown Goby
1x Blue/Green Damsel
1x Watchman Goby
1x Pistol Shrimp
1x Cardinal
1x Yellow Coris Wrasse

It's a peaceful community and I'd hate to ruin it but I'd really like more fish and thinking of adding two wrasses for coloration and movement:

- Lubbock's Wrasse
- A Flasher Wrasse (i.e. Carpenters)

Further, I would like to add an anemone crab and a cleaner shrimp at a later time, would these wrasses be OK with this as well?

We bought 3x fairy wrasse at the same time, they must of been transitioning as they are all now male, at the time we bought them a few people said we were in for trouble and will end up with one, we also have a 3x2 tank albeit a touch taller, there are loads of rocks and hiding places and sure there's a bit of chasing but nothing that lasts a couple of seconds, they've been in there for almost 3 months now and so far all is well, not saying something will still happen in time of course.

Should be fine, just get the flasher first to avoid any aggression.

The crab and cleaner are ok as well.
Thanks, I was planning to get the two wrasses to quarantine, and add to main at same time? Bad idea or?

I suggest posting this on the wrasse lovers thread!

First:
Yes those wrasse would work but I suggest getting a mix of fairies or flashers. With the Lubbocks you could look at other small fairy wrasse.

If you like flashers I suggest 2-3 flasher wrasse such as McCoskers, blue, carpenters etc.
Mixing species means you get displaying @OrionN loves to show flashing wrasses

Second it is not a coris wrasse:

Thanks, a Halichoeres chrysus it is. I will edit :)

So general recommendation is to stick within same species (not sub-group)? I only picked two different because I cannot decide which is prettiest :D

Will post and check out thread, thanks!

Exactly. So maybe a Lubbocks and a pintail or exquisite!
