Hey guys, so I got this mushroom about 2 months ago and I'm just wondering if it will split/ bud new babies on its own? Or does it need to be fragged? Please let me know what you guys think. It's definitley gotten bigger since I first got it but no signs of splitting.

Meaning covering the frag plug? Because if that's that's your saying then it has. Here a more current pic of it
Noice! It should make its own babies. You could frag it, but I personally would let it do it on its own. I'd be upset if I lost any of it, looks good!

It’ll make its own babies when it wants to (usually when it has enough energy/resources to do so), you can feed it to encourage it. You can try cutting it, but don’t do it unless you’re prepared to lose one or both of the halves (mushrooms in general have a high survival rate for cutting them, but it’s still possible that they won’t make it). IMO, considering it’s price and/or rarity, I would probably just wait for it to grow babies.

Ok I'll just wait then. Do you have any idea how long it usually takes to produce babies? Guesstimate?
