Willing adding Selcon or Garlic Guard to Reef Nutrition's Mysis-Feast shorten shelf life?

Title says is ti.. just curious if adding Selcon or Garlic Guard to Reef Nutrition's Mysis-Feast will have any affect on the shelf life?

The bottle says they use PE mysis, which we know is 69.5% crude protein, but then the bottle also says the min guaranteed is only 1.3?%?

Min guaranteed is only a ball park estimate and is low due to all the moisture in the product. When you do the math to exclude the moisture, you will see a higher protein percentage. Excluding moisture, you get 6% dry weight biomass. Divide 1.3% (crude protein minimum) by 6%. Multiply by 100 and you get 21.66%. PE Mysis has already done this math and states that on their label. Since PE Mysis packs more animals (biomass) in there product, theirs will have a higher dry weight protein percentage. Hope this helps!

We recommend that you don't add either of those to the bottle. However, you can mix those products with our Mysis-Feast in a separate container prior to feeding. We recommend no more than a 24 hour soak in the fridge.
