We want and NEED to see your reef tank build updates! So I'm gonna try to bribe you into updating your threads and sharing a photo by putting together a little Friday - Monday giveaway contest. It's easy so don't worry and we will pick 3 Winners via random draw!

1. Update your build thread with a new post about what's going on with your tank and then share your build thread link here in this thread as your official entry! If you don't have a build thread yet then click the following link and start one, then post back in here with your link! Our members tanks forums are found here.

2. Smile and hope you win! Remember this is just a random draw from all participants and has nothing to do with how your tank is doing or what is looks like!

------------------

THREE (3) Winners will be chosen via random draw from your posts in this thread on Tuesday at some time!
We will choose the winners via a random number generator. The winners' usernames will be tagged in the winning announcement. We will not email, pm, or contact the winners other than tagging the winning name. Be sure to check back to claim your prize. If it is not claimed within 3 days we will do a re-pick and so on until the prize is claimed. Please read our general R2R giveaway guidelines/disclaimers HERE!

THREE (3) Winners will receive a R2R Badge T-Shirt and Badge Sticker shipped to their house! ($1 Billion value)

Lots and lots going on my tank. Last month my tank had a major major meltdown when the Refugium went Nuclear. I lost a bunch of fish and had major major issues. Went through at least 900 gallons of saltwater trying to get things under control. Completely emptied out my refugium and redid a bunch of plumbing to re-add my UV sterilizer and a backup pump.

My lost list :-(
  • Achilles tang :-( Xlarge)
  • Harlequin tusk Aussie (Xlarge)
  • Chromis
  • Corals
Was really upset by all the losses. A lot of the corals came back but not all. Been restocking fish and trying to get things back to beautiful.

New fish list

  • Yellow-Blotch Rabbitfish - Siganus Guttatus Qty3 - 03-06-2023
  • BIOTA - GOLDLINE RABBITFISH - Siganus lineatus Qty 2 03-23-2023

  • Biota - Molly Miller Blennies -Scartella cristata - 4x
  • Fowleri Tang (Acanthurus fowleri)
  • Tomini Tang(Ctenochaetus tominiensis)
  • Quoyi Parrotfish (Scarus quoyi) - Just found...Show size.
Working on everything and starting to feel like the tank is getting back to itself. Still have Aiptisia issues going on but tank is coming back.

I am going through similar but on a smaller scale right now. Hang on there!

Hello everybody!

Hope you guys like - and choose - my thread!

Im trying to break some paradigms and proof - at least to myself - that this old school method from 1990 is still actual in 2023.

No skimmer, no sump, no canister, no wc, no headache.

I got me some sweet new coral glasses for picture taking today. I hope I’m not too late.
