Thank you for not making us pick out 10 songs. Where to start? I'm definitely old school so I'll start with where it came out of:

The Monks
13th Floor Elevators
Velvet Underground
The Stooges
New York Dolls
MC5

Then:

Ramones
Johnny Thunder
Richard Hell and the Voidoids
Television
Patti Smith Group
Devo's first album
Bad Brains
Black Flag
Sex Pistols
Teenage Head
The Cramps
The Clash
The danged
Ian Dury and the Blockheads
Dead Kennedys
Plasmatics
Souxisoux and the Banshees

And I'm only barely scratching the surface.

Edit: the censorship software sucks. There is no punk rock band named "The danged"...lol

I used to love the aquabats. Now they’re making kids shows. So my boys are watching them now. Funny when I hear my 2 year old say “I wanna watch aquabats” lol

Going by these lists it seems like punk is a much wider genre than I thought.

Blink 182
Boxcar Racer
Taking Back Sunday - or is that too far over?

I doubt we’ll have an emo thread, but I’ve been in an emo music phase for a while now so heres a list for no reason:
Modern Baseball
American Football
Tiny Moving Parts
mewithoutYou
The Front Bottoms
Foxing
Glocca Morra
Mom Jeans
Equipment
Marietta
Origami Angel
It Looks Sad
Jank
Surf Curse
Dommel Mosel

Muno and Plex... hahahahahhHa!!!
Its funny they made the cyclops from the super rad music video into Muno on the kids tv show... Hard to believe Travis Barker was a drummer for them for a little bit... Im sure he tries to forget that...

I was rocking out to “the living end” on my way home. Forgot how much I loved them. Didn’t see a mention on them yet. I saw them live for there roll on tour, one of the best shows ever. I believe Tsunami Bomb opened for them.

Same, a box a records too!
When I moved away from the states, I gave away a huge vinyl collection worth thousands. But I kept all my 7”. For some reason, they’re more valuable to me. I’ve got a box of them sitting at home. The best bands would only release some songs on vinyl.
