Added a skimmer today. Went with Reef Octopus over Red Sea after reading many reviews. Have it on my wifi timer power strip for later, but leaving it on 24/7 for now. I scraped the glass about 15 minutes ago and got too close to the frogspwan, so it's all closed up. The tank lights on a quick night wind down for lights off at 8pm EDT.

Going to go ahead and switch my ATO reservoir sooner rather than later. There's just not enough room in the sump area, and while I don't particularity mind the smaller size here, having a larger container in the "dry" cabinet would be a net win.

MOAR fishes!

I'm torn. I like the idea of a dwarf angelfish, but I also like the idea of several wrasse.

I'm leaning toward wrasse.

Technically, I probably have room for both a dwarf angel and a few wrasse, but I'd rather not overload the tank or have too many jerkfaces in one tank for now.

I say all this, and the first pretty fish I see will dictate my next move. :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I have two, hoping for two more. Halichoeres. I have a Mel and Leucoxanthus already. Wanting a Chrysus (maybe won't work with the Leuco) and a Biocellatus. Also considering a couple of Flashers and Fairies.

Update FTS. Not a ton to report. Parameters stable, corals growing out. Goby jumped and managed to find one of two small (maybe 2 Sq inches) holes in the back of the lid to make it out of. :disappointed-face:

Considering another goby and a dwarf angel.

Nice looking tank. Anymore updates? Also what are yellowish corals in the middle up top?

I owe this thread a massive update! It was a very long and hard holiday season/end of the year, and I'm just now getting around to being online frequently again.

Middle top, I think you're looking at the BTAs? They are "WWC Hawaiian Punch Anemone" purchased from @Living Reef Orlando! Both are still happy and thriving, though they've moved down to the bottom of the "Tree" and I moved the hammers up.
