I can't see it very well. Is it stationary with a hard tube? Or does it crawl or swim around?

Sorry for the lighting in the process of upgrading the lights. I haven’t seen it move, it just appeared within the last day or so. Looks to be in a circular tube.

Can you describe the part that moves? It could be a vermited snail (bad) but I'm thinking it is a small feather duster (good).

Maybe look up pictures of both and let us know what you think

Nothing you can keep in a reef tank. They won’t directly harm anything but they put out mucous nets which can irritate corals.

Xxkenny90x is correct but I’d only pursue this option if you are inundated with them. I’ve heard mixed results with bb snails and they are also not the easiest to find.

Bumble bee can be destructive to other snails in your aquarium. I believe the tube is that of a spinoid worm (which will have tow hair like antennae coming out of it to feed).
Vermetids are more built of calcium. For either, a dab of super glue gel over the hole will end its misery and yours.

My LFS always has them in stock, and this is the first of whatever it may be, but if there’s one I’m sure there are others that may not be noticeable.

Maybe add one bumblebee as precaution. It’s currently a 55g.

1 fire blood shrimp
1 margarita snail
2 nassarius snail (very small and 1 don’t see anymore)
1 nerite snail

2 saddle black clown
1 azure damsel
1 baby yellow tang (we rehome later)

I guess I should clarify I was originally talking about thing one, but there’s thing two which looks like the white thing.

White thing appears to be poriferan sponge. While a filter feeder can be a nuisance. You can expose it to air, or inject with air or vinegar via syringe to rid of it
