Stick with me on this and tell me whether it is just too cRAzY:
Rather than purchase two (2) 150 gallon tanks-- let's say hypothetically to keep a large Angel in each-- If I got a 300 gallon tank (96" L x 30" W x 25" Tall) and wanted to use rocks to divide it to keep the fish apart, would it look s-t-u-p-i-d? Just like some people make a 'rock wall' ALONG the back, with some caves, couldn't I make a rock wall that ran FROM back-to-front, also with some caves on each fish's 'side' of the tank? I understand that any smaller fish could get through; I'm not worried about that. I would just like to have one giant sump managing the entire tank, rather than two full aquarium set-ups, and I really don't want to go the egg-crate/glass/acrylic divider route if I can just use rock and do something cool. Thoughts? Thanks, everyone
