Would my rbta be ok with Cyano while I wait for my chemi clean to arrive

So I just got a rbta and my tank randomly got cyano while I was ordering my rbta so would my rbta be ok while I wait for my chemi clean to arrive (tank is picture might look cloudy Bc I was trying to take some cyano off the rocks)

I wouldn't even use the chemiclean. More of a pain than it's worth. Current parameters, lighting and age of tank are what will determine if the nem will make it or not.

One of the causes of cyano is a lack of flow in the tank. Even if you treat the cyano, it’ll just come back if you have the exact same conditions that’s allowing it to take off right now. I’d point that lonely powerhead directly at the rocks for a few days and see what happens.

So the tank is 2 months but to fill the tank up I used my year old tank water from my 55

Tank water doesn't matter at all tbh. The age of the rocks is what matters.

Exactly, this is why BRS claims to start a "brand new" tank, but uses a big bag full of rock rubble from a well established system. It's not "new". It's a heart transplant.

Not saying things won't work out. However nems take sometimes weeks to really show happiness. Generally they just start inflating less and less.

The nem found a place it likes but the rocks in the way should I move the rock

It'll use the rocks to its advantage and tuck in or extend out depending on what it wants. I wouldn't move anything

Cyano is not harmful to a nem, just unsightly.

Eh, the place I used to get cyano was on a piece of dead sps directly in front of a powerhead.
