Only way I'd spend that kind of money is on an acro I was confident I could grow out and recoup my money in frags. With most LPS that is much tougher to do.

Im questioning if its Acanthophyllia though? Does not look like it at all!

Looks like a trachy or lobo.

As for those colours ive personally not seen anything like it and looks pretty unique to me. Probably the reason for the higher price tag.

Id be questioning them and maybe find out where its from.

In reality though, you have to ask the question for yourself, its hard to guage prices on corals at times and really the value comes down to how common is it and how much do you really want it.
