Would you guys consider Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson fish "lake" he has for his fish? Apparently he has people from the University from his area I believe the house is in Georgia? They keep everything very health for him. He will go out and catch and release he has some monster fresh water fish that's like the entire front of his house property.

Why not is really the question? being able to do something like this means you have the resources to do so. Dedicated fish rooms, proper power, proper drainage, proper water, etc etc.

For me it would be a 300 gallon room divider tank (kitchen/family room)

When we were house hunting we crossed off the houses that wouldn’t easily or functionally accommodate the 8’ long 310 gallon aquarium we had.

Here is how I started my build thread. I warn everybody that this is the kind of crap people do when they are in a hobby for too many years.

Water change and ATO room, all plumbing goes through the foundation. fully automated and old water drains through the foundation during water changes. No buckets to mix or carry!

1. If given the chance to build a new house would you build it "around" a new dream reef tank set up?
Yes, 100%.

2. What are some of the things you would do if you were building a new home with a dream aquarium housed in it?
I'd want it to be around 3,000 gallons so we could have a captive-bred nurse shark. I'd also want it to be viewable from almost every room of the house. I would also want easy access to it for maintenance.
