WTB: BROKEN APEX DISPLAY

I want to give a shot at improving my electronics modification/repairs skills. Anyone have Apex displays with either a cracked screen that still show a backlight when powered on and/or Apex displays with torn cords stuff like that?

Is the cord torn or does the back light at least come on?

physically nothing seems wrong, probably a quick fix, cord is fine, no screen reaction from plugging in but idk
