yeah after i saw yours i thought maybe the first frag was very lucky

I didn’t notice it with the Cookie Monster frags, but I know that for some of the other frags during the live sale there were varying sizes and varying prices to match the sizes. Some of the corals I was looking at varied by as much as 25 or 30% in price depending on the size of the frag. I suspect the smaller Cookie Monster frag was also cheaper.

if it helps I paid i think around $56 for mine, my blueberry was also only $29 and you can see how small he is compared to the cookie

Not much growth but got it in its spot and the color at the base is much better than when I received.

Cool idea! It will be nice to see how they all develop over time in each person's system knowing they all came from the same source. Too bad they couldn't sponsor this and get a bunch of frags ready that are all similar in size and shape.

lights aren’t ramped up so he’s not very colorful, but I beat the algae to end the year so he got his rock placement. Also need some coral recommendations to fill out the rest of the tank, big pictures will be on my build thread if you have any ideas !

Ahhh i didnt get to participate but its all good, for me its a bit of a slow grower ( as most frags are until they hit critical mass. Sorry it was hard to take a video its the one behind the incredible hulk stag. Its definitely a pretty coral!

I moved my Cookie Monster up from the sand bed and into the rocks today:). He’s been in the tank since 12/2. Hopefully now that he’s in his permanent home he’ll start growing over the next few weeks and months.

MAn, the end of last semester was a doozy. It always is, but some how it always takes me by surprise. IT's like the YouTube video of the guy who keeps scaring his wife, sometimes twice in a row, and she always gets scared.

At this point, I should know it's going to get rough. maybe I block it out? PTSD? lol... anyways, here's my Cookie Monster today. He's pretty happy and is growing some nubs, I'm just REALLY bad at photography. Not winning THAT contest today.

How's everyone's Cookie Monster doing? Mine hasn't grown much, but the polyps are extending quite a bit.
