I wonder, do any of y'all have pumpkins in your garden? Also, we buy them every year for decoration purposes and I think they lased a month or two outside without rotting. What kind of fruit can do that?!!! The hubris of mankind on full display! haha

i was about to say it's hard to garden in the desert..but then again i have a reef tank...

in so cal. on the 4th of July we broke a record high from like 1962 of 124 degrees! its been a hot, hot summer!
That's wild. I've always lived on the gulf coast and am used to heat, but not that kind of heat. Also, folks in Phoenix always bring up "yeah, but it's a dry heat". While correct, my body is 100% adapted to high humidity areas. I could drink a bottle of water every waking hour and still got you-need-to-sit-down dehydrated while I was there.
