I came by last Sunday shortly after you all were open and was turned away from seeing the farm. Was told you all were having an event and I could see it then. Problem is I live 4.5 hrs away in Georgia and will not be back in orlando until maybe October. It was my first visit to your store. I've been in the hobby for 8+ years and was very excited to visit your place of business and make some purchases. Walked out empty handed... also mind you I have a 220 sps dominant with all named corals. Maybe next time I guess..

I saw the 900 last year at the open farm event and it is awesome. I think you could snorkel in there. Looking forward to seeing the build. Did you guys ever do a build thread on your farm system?

Hi ericw
The farm is not open to the public, so not sure where the confusion came from.
Also there were plenty of corals in the floor for sale (more than most stores I've ever been to) sorry about your experience.

I did until 2015! But my local fish store closed up this past year unfortunately :(
I am in the market for a new home and my main concern is having a large enough walk out basement to start my farm!
Worked in a fish store and then went home to my coral grow out everyday, but had a house fire last May and that all ended.

I have visited your store twice. Not to buy just to drool!
Unfortunately I am from the UK and stupid customs get in my way lol.
So happy I have found this thread as I wanted to know more about it the moment I saw it.
Ive read all pages from the last 2 years so I was mainly up to date.

So to recap am I right in thinking
You run 4 Red Sea Actinic bulbs for 9 hours a day, 1 Red Sea White / Blue bulb for 3 hours and the Blue LED throughout the lighting duration. Approx 16" above the water line.

So the acros grow with just the actinic T5's and 3 hours of white?

Calcium Reactor
Under rated skimmer
High flow in the tank
Low flow through sump
Nitrates 25-30
Phos between 0.03 - 0.08
Calcium 450
Alk 8
Mag 1250

3 Times heavy daily feeds
Dose Aminos daily
Snails and tangs to keep on top of algae.

Think thats everything ;)
