For touch, IIRC, it needs to go through a mucus membrane (mouth, eyes, etc) or an open wound.
Yes, I’ve had more problems with inhaling the dang stuff. Gets you a bit high for a few hours and your heart races like crazy. I’ve been nailed a few ways (via cut and inhaled it).

It gets into the air as well. I know from first hand experience…

Basically, be careful. They are an animal that has a neurotoxin. If you can get a tiny drop of water on you, you could be exposed to it. But most corals have a low amount..... it's like a jalepeno... some are mild... but then you hit that seed and can get lit up.

Oh lord yes, I learned this the hard way many years ago (30 or so). We didn’t have the interwebs back then…

omg... I am dieing over these acros. The plan is to have the peninsula be lps and do a custom 400 gallon tank for sps.... I'm having a hard time not biting.
