Is this a fix it yesterday type of thing or fix it tomorrow type of thing?

Just a bit more glue at the base?

Fix it fast.

If it goes into the sand, it will be hard, if not impossible for it to recover.

Also, I started taking mine off the plugs recently. I think they look much more natural that way, and seem to grow better. You may consider just taking it off the plug and attaching it where you want it.

That's a good idea. We've done this in our tank battle tanks
