Hello all!

I recently just picked up the XR15 G6 Blue for my 25G AIO and I just dialed in the intensity of the AB+. I love the light, but man the AB+ was a bit too much white light.
Regarding white light in terms of coral growth, how important is this? I turned my down from 60% to 30%, but I want to make sure I am not going to stunt my coral.

Mainly SPS based, really heavy on the Zoa.

Cheers!

What % were the white channels on the ab+ preset? 60%.
Yup, but that was the peak setting. I ended up turning that down since it really did look washed out IMO.

Wow I have 2 xr 15 g5 pro and the ab+ Temp has them at 24% My overall system intensity is 75%. Looks good to my eyes. I think u should b ok with that setting but I’d chk w par meter.
Knowing me I screwed something up lol, but that being said it was 24% for the ramp up (second to peak), but at peak I recall seeing 60%. What I am going to do is save my preset (parwise I am good, sand bed is around 150-180 par and upper parts is 225-250) but I was worried about coral development without white light.

I think the ab+ has a proven track record and isn’t overly white imo. My system w no filter and orange filter but I know everyone sees things diff. I think as long as your hitting the right spectrums for their metabolic needs It’ll b ok.
