Yellow Algae??

I'm in the second week of cycling and just noticed yellow algae on the sand bed and tank. Is this algae, normal during cycling, and is it harmful to the one green Chromis?

A pic would be helpful under white lighting
Likely diatoms especially if newer tank

looks like yellow speckles
