Yellow coris wrasse nipping coral ?!!

I was told besides small invertebrates that yellow coris wrasse are coral safe ?? Well a month in and he’s nipping at my elegance coral my scoly and my trachy and my torch coral has gone downhill since I got him what timing? so I guess I Just ended up with a bad fish? I don’t get after numerous research I end up getting the one that’s nipping ?! Any advice ? There are no bugs or anything on these corals that I can see any advice ? Idk how I’m gonna even catch this guy??

any wrasse can nip corals though most don’t. i wouldn’t say anything is 100% reef safe. Instead of killing a helpless animal, you can just net it out of its sand bed quickly with a long handle net. should be too hard.
