Hey guys I recently adopted a yellow tang and noticed in the first few days these white markings pop up. Was wondering if anyone has seen this before and advice on what to do.
Don’t mind the white dots they are on the glass.

Also since the tang one of my clowns has been swimming in the flow and gill flaring. treated him today in a qt with prazipro and noticed his white area started to turn red. Possible gill flukes?

Keep in mind I’m in Australia so limited treatments are available. I do have some copper power and prazipro.

Tank parameters
Ph 8.2
Alk 8.7
P04 0.8
N03 9.9
Cal 460
Mag 1420

Feeding
3 cubes mysis mixed with spirulina daily
nori daily.

Clownfish has bruising which we call it clown bruising and seems to have effect on tank raised species and can be excess breeding or hereditary but what is observed is it either goes away and even worsens. While there isnt an actual cure for this, ruby rally pro seems to prevent worsening and is reef safe
The tang shows HLLE and a possible vitamin deficiency. I see dots which I cant tell if its the glass or mucus cones on the fish. If these raised bumps are on the fish, you then want to treat in a separate tank using coppersafe at 2.25 for 30 days monitoring this level with a Hanna Brand copper test kit.
What foods are you feeding the tang?

Do you see white dots on the fins - which it looks like to me (in addition to HLLE) - However there are also white dots on the glass - and the picture is a bit blurred.

Here’s a better pic he’s super fast lol, what ever it is it’s on his top fin and around the eyes but really noticeable under blues.

Ok- much clearer and my yellows can dart into an opening in no time flat. Bumps I saw dont appear visible and may have been on the glass of tank itself. For the HLLE, assure proper diet and good water quality. Some foods to feed are:

LRS herbivore diet
Formula 2 flake and frozen
TDO Pellets
small plankton
Hikari Marine cuisine
Ocean nutrition veggie diet
spirulina brine shrimp
mysis shrimp
Prime reef
Nori seaweed basted with garlic extract

Add selcon vitamins to foods occasionally
