I placed a juvenile in QT s 24 hours ago. He ate chopped table shrimp right away and had been eating like pig since.

I placed a small container of silica sand with just few pieces of rubble in a tupperware container in the take but he has not used it all all. It's seems like he does not know it's there. Just wondering if this is normal and whether I should try to put him in the container, or just let it be?.

Since he's eating well, should I go ahead and begin the prophylactic treatment. praz and then copper power, or let settle in a few more days?

Sorry for clueless noob questions, lol

Thanks, will give it a few days.
No problem, I also should have mentioned, 48-72 hours is good, unless you start to see signs of Velvet. Then you would want to start copper right away.
