I absolutely love big tubs of rock. Looks like some nice branching pieces in there too!

So do I! I've been scrounging for rock around my area now for a month or so, and finally got some big pieces that I really wanted, those are all at the bottom. I have a lot of stacking/shelf rock that I placed on top, and yes, there is a bit of branching tonga in there as well. I ironically sold a bunch of a local club member about 5 years ago, and he's breaking down his tank and sold it back to me. I'm a little nervous about not putting together a scape until the rock is cured, but it'll have to do.

I also told my coworkers today I was cooking a bunch of rock in my basement, and was alerted that I am to close to Baltimore to be throwing out statements like that :D

There’s something I love about that setup. Nice tank

Thanks very much, the new setup or the old setup? I like them both, but I'm partial!

The new setup is 5 feet long, 3 feet deep, but amazingly shallow at only 18", I'm getting real excited to get it running!

I was referring to the old setup. But the new one should be even better.

Well we can end the lighting debate, I'm going to the Orpheks. Time is valuable to me atm, and I've talked to several folks that have them over large tanks, and they have been very happy with them. As much as I'd love DIY my own, I've got my motorcycle coming out of the shop in a few weeks, and I'm going to be riding in all my free time!

You will really like the atlantik’s. Those huge panels really help with shadowing issues and the colors you get with them are amazing.

Such a beautiful tank! And just jam packed with color. I was curious... what's that pink tipped one with the light blue/white body? The one right behind the green polyped mille. Fantastic tank!

Thanks for the kind words. That’s the WWC Pink Tip, originally came from Cornbred I believe.

Well, we had our local club meetup over the weekend, and of course I ended up with some more goodies, because who has two thumbs and no self control?! THIS GUY!

Lights are on their way, and I picked up some additional goodies, x2 Gyre xf280's and a controller. I threw them into my rock tub with some additional rock, as well as a heater. These things definitely sling some water, but I'm eager to see how they do in a tank VS a rubbermaid tub. I'd like to do some MP60's, but those are out of my budget at the moment.

Next big frag up is the Tyree Pinky The Bear, above it WWC Pink Panther, and TSA Fruity Pebbles.

And then one of my favorites, luckily a fast grower for me, the SC Orange Passion:

Mixed another reefers tank breakdown from a 125 with my freshly cycled rock. Their tank was setup for 15 years, so I’ll have a lot of beneficial bacteria to jump up my rock life. I also grabbed a pair that he’d had for 10+ years, a beautiful powder brown, and a giant maroon clownfish.

Looks like a nice Orphek hanging over that tub.

One out of two! Needed to get something hanging. I also realized I need to order the Gateway now, I'm fairly sure they are uncontrollable without them. Glad I realized now rather than when I was setting up the tank.

Yeah, you definitely need the gateway.
