Been out of the reefing game for about 2 years now.
Always said once I moved and I had the space and means i would get back in.

So the tank just arrived. Time to get salty.

Ran into my first snag, not enough buddies to help me unbox this beast.
Some of the cabinet parts are wedged under the display tank. SMH

nice home and nice tank to go with it!

I bet you need a heard of young strong guys to get that beast going. the 750 was one heck of a tank and the 900 is a big BOY for sure. better bribe them with beer and pizza.

I like the scape but the left side looks a bit "stacked" for me. are you gonna use marco cement or the like? if so you can get away with less rock to hold it up giving more caves.

Yes i agree, it does look stacked. I will definitely use reef putty for this build.
Thinking of making two structures just in case I need to adjust one of the structures.

My LFS has a 900 wet with about 200 clowns in it. What are you going to do with the extra sump in the right side?

I want to run an algae reactor and maybe have a frag rack in one of the chambers? I'm trying to get ideas online, but haven't seen much being posted.

Looking great!! Planning one of these out also, I have a question that you made mention of; because its shipped direct, and the crate has cabinet parts underneath(that's asinine) how heavy is the tank itself?

The tank is at least 500 pounds. I want to say 600 pounds. It took 4 strong guys to move it.
One guy is still recovering lol
