Hi y'all!
Let's see those wrasses! Meet Twinkie. Twinkie is a Melanurus Wrasse and he LOVES sand! Everyday, like clockwork (ZERO EXAGGERATION), Twinkie dives into the sand at 9:00pm to sleep and comes back out at 9:00am. It doesn't matter if I am feeding at 10:00pm at night, he will not come out until 9:00am approaches. Everyday like clockwork! What a personality this dude has. This is why it is important to have a good deep sand bed for these type of fish or any fish that loves the sand...not a cup (smh). You take away their nature and I couldn't imagine taking that away from Twinkie! When I bought him he was in a bare bottom tank and in the back laying down miserable. He is the coolest dude and the sweetest. My Flame Angel is best friends with him and they dance every morning when he comes out. It is truly so heart warming to see.
