Hi welcome so little back story got into salt water in 2019 what got me into the hobby was the banana eel, but they where never available so i went FOWLR with angels/tangs/wrasse/blennys ect, after reading all the horror storys about red sea tanks i decided i did not want to take the chance of my tank blowing so i give all my fish away for free lol. Well guess what has just became available in the UK BANANYA EELS!!!! so guess its time to hop back into the hobby.

Equipment
Nyos 160 skimmer
Clarisea sk5000
currently 1* hydra 64hd (plan on getting another 1)
2* Maxspect Gyre Clouds XF350CE
40kg of rock (plan on getting another 20kg)

Not ordered the tank yet but planning on i think a D-D 1200 waiting for black Friday sales as they had 15% off aquariums last year

yea but they have put it on sale now so it might sell out b4 tank is cycled and the longest they will reserve it is 2 weeks =/ hoping no 1 wants a eel lol

asked them if i could pay in full they said 2 weeks max

Maybe just not meant to be. If it’s still there with your tank 2 weeks from being ready to go, do it then, fingers crossed.

if i don't get THAT banana eel i might wait and get a japanese dragon eel they are rare in the UK but the importer in the UK only get them in if a LFS specifically asks for them
