Polyp Lab Medic. In Canada, we've very limited to what we can treat fish with (no copper, no prazi, etc.)
Why is that? I know we’ve started having trouble getting things because morons tried using them to treat Covid, and it’s one of those things that sets me off. I don’t think living things should have to suffer and die because the FDA wants to crack down on medications to keep stupid people from getting ahold of them (which, let’s be honest, they’ll still find a way ANYWAY). That’s unspeakably cruel.

To answer the question, keep in mind I’m definitely an over-preparer, this is what I have, that I can remember:

Copper Power/Copper Safe/Cupramine
Chloroquine Phosphate
Fenbendazole
PraziPro/praziquantel
Kanaplex
Metroplex
General Cure
Enrofloxacin
Ciprofloxacin
Erythromycin
Nitrofurazone
Nitrofuracin Green
Methylene Blue
Neoplex
Levimasole
And a couple more antibiotics that I have laying around

Some of those are carryovers from other species (like poultry). I like to keep things on hand, and have found that judicious use of them has saved my animals a lot of pain, sometimes saved their lives, and honestly, has saved me a lot of money. I don’t have to wait until my animals are 90% dead to get them vet care. I’m going to ask my vet about dexamethasone for emergency treatment as well. We’ve got a good relationship, since I used to work there.

Because we elect idiots (primarily by idiots) who don't live in the real world and lack any concept of foresight.
