Stainless steel drywall taping knife. 9 bucks at home depot.

Sturdy, wide, and flat. Cleans glass like a champ!

Takes care of:
Film algae
Coraline algae
Spirborid worms

Best piece of aquarium maintenance I've ever bought!

Depending on the system algae gets wiped off between 1 to 3 weeks on average. Beside angling lights at about a 15° - 20° to reduce the amount of light I use paper towels to remove algae from the glass.

Magnet cleaner along glass using the acrylic pads and a scraper along glass at bottom next to sand followed by wiping down the outside with RO water and a clean white cotton t-shirt twice a week.

I like that i can use hotel room cards in the flipper scraper or any plastic card so no need to ever buy replacements. The algae free acrylic pad kit also come in handy and helps with not scraping the glass.
