For myself I’ll say that I’m most active from September-April. During the summer months I do slow down a touch, but never stop. This is due to more outdoor activities. [emoji41]

Winter. Because its harder for me to go fishing and all in the cold. So I spend the majority of my free time with aquatic chores

I slow down Feb to April because of work. Part of my job is income tax preparation.

Doesnt change, I have the same amount of activity each week.

Daily - marvel that everything is alive and look for problem indicators
Saturday - test water parameters, clean rear glass, and mix water
Sunday - water change
Monday - check, clean, and replace reactor media (carbon/GFO) as needed
Every to every other day - clean algae from glass and refill ATO
Weekly - remove macro-algae as needed
Monthly - clean MP40s
Every other month - Tear down protein skimmer for thorough cleaning
Every four months - Tear down Kessils for thorough cleaning, clean T5s/reflectors, and disassemble/clean return pump

The activity doesn’t change (can’t let all that hard work go to waste...) but definitely peak interest around this time of year. This is when I buy new fish because I’m home more to QT-sit. The summer months we are often camping on weekends. I do like to spend hot summer afternoons in the AC watching my new additions grow, however ;)

every day of the week, always something to take care of to make sure all is as it should be, having 2 systems more work ! but worth the effort to sit down and enjoy to watch my achievement

My only down time is the summer months when we are on vacation. We take two long ones usually in June and July. As my kids are too into sports and such for much more. So, those are times I am not active with my tanks. They are being babysat. :)

every month mostly with the exception of dec and feb. Dec because of christmas ( sometimes I do buy something for myself ) and Feb because of Valentine's day, daughter's birthday and 2 step daughters birthdays. All in the same week

Obviously it is a yearly hobby, but it is an indoor hobby for me. Winters are long in Vermont and I don't ice fish as much as I used to. The warmer months and days off tend to be spent doing outdoor things, but I do tend to buy more stuff in the summer months because of better shipping temps so that keeps the interest up.

Slow months at work are January - May. Oddly that’s when I get the most money. But between anniversary, 3 kids, my moms, and my wife’s birthday are all between Jan and April soooo, May. In May I get to reef. [emoji1787]
