Was having a debate the other day about the oldest piece of kit still running on my tank! Not squirreled away in some dusty old closet, but actually still running on a tank ..... and NOT including the actual tank. I just retired an old orange Dupla float switch that I bought in 1988, so now it's my MTC ProCal at only 20 years young (though I did have to replace the pump). What's your geezer-gear?

My eheim 1262 has been in continuous use since 2006 other then for a brief time when I moved in 2016. It was probably the first non nano piece of equipment I bought.

Mag 12 pump I bought to power a Becket injector type skimmer, circa 1999.

I retired that skimmer years ago. Used the pump for years to pump swimming pool water on to the slide for the kids. Currently using it to mix and pump new salt water. Don't need a heater... run this pump in my 60g mixing barrel overnight, temp goes up to 76f or even higher. Still as noisy and inefficient as it's always been, and works just as well!

I had a pair of Tunze 6105's that I bought used ( 1 year old said the previous owner) and used for 8 years before selling them to a friend 4 years ago and she is still using them.
The Tunze 6055's are 10 years old that are currently in my 50 gallon tank.

Little giant 4MDX-SC return pump going on 18 years now. I have a backup ready to replace it, but can’t beat that many years. I still have to toggle it back to keep the flow right. I’m also running a 20 year old Scott’s Tru Reef cell cast acrylic sump. No leaks yet!

My display tank is a 24 year old 120 gallon Oceanic.

I hope this is appropriate as my oldest item is not really equipment. I have a small ceramic house that has been in every tank I have had for 62 years yes 62 years

Wow that’s quite interesting, why a ceramic house, any story behind it?

I've been using a Litermeter from the early 2000s almost non stop with zero maintenence on any of the pumps other than an occasional recalibration. I'm not sure exactly when I got it, but it's got to be over 15 years old now. My tunze 6105s are second place. They might have been first place but I switched from the old school square ones to the round ones you can aim at some point long ago.
