yes . 5 drop twice a weekAre you dosing Zeobak too?
i kept getting white film every day on the tank glass and i need to clean it . any idea why ?
tank is 550l , no3 -1 po4-0.03
1.5 l of zeolite in skimz zar 157
Zeostart daily - 0.7ml x2
Zeolife 5ml daily
b-balance - 3ml daily
amino - 2drops daily
sponge power -2 drop daily
biomate - 5 drops daily
acroglow - 2 drop daily
CV - 2 drops daily
bak - 5 drop - 2x per week
Does over dose biomate cause this ???White film on glass is indication of over dose bacteria source. U can decrease zeobak and zeostart3 50% for a week and observe
I don't use biomate so I don't know the symptom. But anytime white film is on the glass it's a sign of too much bacteria. The recommended dosage per gallon is not exactly precise because the rock and surface for bacteria to grow are different from tank to tank. Remember zeovit was out since 2001 and back then the reef tank was fill with live rock compare to minimalist reef tank now a days is a big different in surface area. I hope the explanation will clear some questions that u have.Does over dose biomate cause this ???
U can get the bigger one and fill it with appropriate amount and in the future u can add more if needed.hello
want to ask about zeovit
want to take skimz reactor
i need only 1.2L
the small one can hold max of 1.2L but the problem is i am fared it won't hold all of them or something
can i get the large one ? or it will be a problem ?
The rating of the reactor is not very accurate u can use the higher settings just monitor your tanki am using skimz zar157 and my tank volume is around 550l but the latest setting for the flow rate is around 0.9l of media but i am using 1.5l . should i use the higher setting ?
Dino is nutrients problem and lack of biodiversity to compete. The best and fastest way to control dino is to add real live rock with good biodiversity. Do u have any coral or fish in the tank? Do u test for nitrate and phosphate? Zeovit can add bacteria and microorganisms to make your tank biodiversity better but its a slow build up process. A lot of tank lately have dino problem because they start with all dry rock and their biodiversity is lacking. Years ago when we used real live rock we dont have much dino problem only unwanted hair algae.hello
i have a problem
i had dino befor in my system 2 month a go
i got raid of it and tank is stable for about a month
this week i was going to start zeovit system and i had been using coral snow for 2 week now only to help get raid of hair alage
but now dino is back again!
i don't know how i am using only skimmer
no filter socks no cheato no reactors
i clean the frag tank and i remove a sponge that i forget in the sump next day dino is here
can i still run zeovit ? or i need to fix the dino problem first ?

You can start dosing zeobak and sponge power for now until your tank get better then u can add Zeostart3
both in the same system
but i don't know why only in the frag tank i have dino
in the DT i don't have any
