Coral snow - can add some drops of food. For bigger cleanup Zeo-Zyme with Bio-mate cleans it up nice too.

Anything in the glass bottle then I refrigerator. If its in the plastic bottle then room temperature.

I’m switching to Anthony’s zeovit method without the zeolites. I run an oversized skimmer for my 90gal. Looking forward to getting the rest of my KZ bottles in the mail so I can start!

Your rock scape is minimalist and bare bottom u might need more rock in your sump for bacteria to grow and populate. Now adays reef tank trend is less rock more Coral vs to 1lb per gallon in the old day. The aquascape look nicer but u will suffer with biological filtration in your tank.

Good call. I was thinking of adding about 20 more pounds of some Fiji rock I have access to. I’m kind of worried about adding new rock while starting a new method though, so maybe I should cycle them before in a brute with water change water after I’ve been dosing the KZ bacteria’s for a few months.

Oh and it’s sand bottom by the way, special grade, it’s just coralline coated at the moment.

Its ok 20lb wont effect much. Just soak it in rodi for a few days then put in sump. If your sump dont have much light then no algae will grow on it.

That’s true. I was thinking of adding some to the display too. My leng sy monti takes up a ton of space, I was thinking of selling it at some point and adding more rock to place more acros

I feed lrs reef frenzy, pe mysis, or hakari mysis 3-4 times daily. NO3 10-25, PO4 .05-.08 on average. Running a fuge now but will be taking that offline once the bacteria gets here and is dosed a few times.

I think you should get more fish. Like a bunch more fish. I have double that many fish and my tank is less than half your water volume. Cardinals, basslets, and clownfish are the best coral food producers.

True. I had a large stock list and lost 90% of my fish after a long power outage. I’ve been slowly rebuilding. What cardinals or basslets would you recommend for coral crop dusting.

Banghai and orchrestriped (hard to find) cardinals, chalk bass and royal grammas. I also have 2 Blue assessors but they’re hard to find as well.

I have been using Start3, food+ and Bak for a week now. Question: On the Start3 bottle is says phosphate and nitrate reducer. Do I have to be concerned that product(s) could cause my NO3 and PO4 to getting too low and causing dino ?
