hey guys I may have the oppertunity to get a 350g cube tank. the tank is freshwater right now. and I was wondering if you guys had any input on how to run a tank this big. the biggest tank I have owned is my current 90.

how would you do:
water movement.
filtration.
sump/fuge
closed loop
lighting

basically I guess I am looking for HOW WOULD YOU DO IT.

hopefully the deal can be worked out and I can get it.

what is your suggestions.

I will turn this into the reef and keep the 90 for????

I would need to now the tank dimensions before i said any thing. :nerd:

Edit sorry just saw its a cube lol

Cl = om 4 way

cube tanks are hard to light so i would go with 4 Lumenarc reflectors, or some thing on the same line as them. I would want to now the deepth to say what kind of watt lights i would burn.

What are the dimensions of the cube? I know a 240 "cube" is 48x48x24.... but a 350? Wow that would be HUGE!

well guys I went and checked out the tank this evening and it is NOT 350g's
the tank measures 48x24x36 so if my math is correct it's a 180. and the guy said he turned down $800 for it last week so I will not be getting this. my brother in law paid $700 for a brand spanking new 150 cube. so I think his price is to high...I will keep looking.

But I do appericate all the reccomendations(sp?).

yeah...considering he has a buch and I mean like 300 guppies in it. so the only thing I could have used is the tank and stand.

by the way your 75 is killer.
