Have you ever had any particularly unusual or rare species in your aquarium? If so, what was the experience like?

Red tunicates,
Experience: about a few weeks.
Price: That is sort of embarrassing in this hobby. I bought TBS “The Package “.
Ready to start dosing silicates to get growth.
Here is a quick video

Beautiful tunicates, but to clarify here - sponges are the ones that use silicates, not tunicates.

That is true, but the very very few people who have posted about them say that Spongexcel from Brightwell helps. Going to try it and report back.

It depends what you see as rare or unusual;
I’ve had many from Flashing Tilefish to a Wild Misbar Regal Angel.
It’s the same with small nano species - I’ve got some weird species still and have owned others.

When I was a child I had a freshwater aquarium. My friend caught a baby bull catfish. They are black in color. It was about 2 inches long. I had a rare experience of my father doing something nice . He bought I don't know how many fish and put them in my tank. When I got home from school he asked me if I had a shark in the tank. The catfish ate well that day
