I love your tank. Your main scape looks like a natural environment and I mean that in the best way possible. That is always the goal for me. Once I get past the every coral is awesome to me stage, I think I’m going to do a more natural looking setup.Updated tank ahot
Your tank is looking great! If you wanted to add some new rock Ecoscape would work well since it looks like cycled rock!I really need to re think my aquascape. I have some of that dry dead rock still that I started with and I can still see the white in certain shades of light and I hate that, looks like bleached reef to me. Perhaps some @Peace River Ecoscape rock would help?
thanks! I will take a look at it moreYour tank is looking great! If you wanted to add some new rock Ecoscape would work well since it looks like cycled rock!
thanks! I am trying though it is not where I want it to be. I am searching for some more yumas and rics, and maybe a frogspawn at some point, needs more color. had some gracilaria in the sump long ago but it died off and I switched to chaeto which seems to be nice and dense. One day I will try to frag that massive toadstool but not sure if I am ready for that, never fragged a thing lol.Nice looking tank. My favorite tanks were mainly macro, gorgonian, corallimorphs and LPS tanks.
I have Gracilaria in my fuge. It is hanging in there and growing slowly but hasn't taken off to any degree. My fuge is more like a free-form ATS with an attached pod hotel. It produces a fine blend of hair algae on the walls that I harvest regularly but the Gracilaria won't need to be harvested for a very long time. If it dies I will switch to Chaeto as well.thanks!
