Mixed up 80 gallons of saltwater to do my last big water change till summer is over and no bueno! Water is already 91° ugh!!!! Freezing a bunch of blocks of ro to try and bring it down tomorrow or it’s gonna be a waste unless I do 2 gallons a day or something. It’s already 95 outside here… rrr

Okay last water change done till October or so when it cools off out here! Tried to change it yesterday and the mixing station was 91° froze a gallon of ro water and got it down to 84 just now and went with it! Tank jumped from 80 to 82 but already came back down and now it's snowing!

Had to knock out a quick skim mate locker since I’ll be out of town for a week and a half.. got a house and dog sitter but they don’t know anything about a reef tank so it’s gotta be on auto pilot lol… put a second failsafe drain just in case the skimmer decided it wanted to overflow it will all go back in the sump. Holds 3.5 gallons so it’s good for awhile! No longer miss the huge skimmer cup on my big skimmer.
