Lots of details to work out on this but I did want to gauge some interest on it. Here would be a few general rules just to get you thinking if you would want to join.

1. We would let you pair yourself up with the person of your choosing based on what zoas they had to trade.

2. We would all ship in a thermos like this maybe? Inside a shipping box of course.

3. We would ship USPS priority (free box) which would probably be 2 days for everyone in the lower 48. (fine for well packed zoas)

I have ordered the thermos I linked to and will have it tomorrow to review and to see how many frags we can fit.

I think after the thermos and shipping we should be able to keep it under $20 possibly.

Anyone interested? Also would love to hear your ideas.

I’d be down. Don’t have a lot zoas, working on rebuilding my collection, but this seems like a good way to diversify.

I'm in. Have shrooms for zoas. I went on cleaning spree and scrapped a bunch of zoas and wife had heart attack. Now I'm in trouble and have to make it up haha.

Also in the early days of this forum we used to do this. As long as weather isn't extreme then zoas or more hardy coral can make a 2 day shipping just fine. You would really only be out the price of the priority shipping because you would get the thermos of the person who ships to you. Then you can keep it going, back and forth with others and build your collection.

I only have regular zoas but interested to see how this progresses

The goal is for you to be paired with someone who would still want some of yours even though they are more common. They may also have other commons that you would like. Also someone may be willing to send you a few small frags just to help you build your collection.

I'd love to, but I have zoa eating asterina starfish. Every zoa I put on my rocks is gone within 1 week. And only an asterina left to show any signs there was something there. No Zoas for me. But I would do this with Acropora. :) Ha!

Let's see how this one goes and we can coordinate something! :)
