I am using a clear 50 gal plastic tote for my sump , could I build a refugium in the plastic tote? My tank is a 140 gal rimless and has been running for about 9 months now. If so where to start ?? Thanks Kim

See if it is nsf safe or find one that is. Nsf is national sanitation foundation, they're the ones that certify if things are good enough to use for food service.

thanks I didnt think about having issues with plastic.. I will go ahead and get 40 gal aquarium at petsmart and go from there ..
