My blue spot is such a fun fish! He is super inquisitive, fearless, and hard working. I was even able to take decent pics with an iPhone because he came up to the surface to check out the phone! In other news, saltwater is not good for cleaning an iPhone.

I have a glass top, which I will be replacing with a screen. They get a bit crazy once the lights go off, and like to skim across the surface half out of the water. Why? I dunno. He won't tell me.

Ironic, as I looked at a video after seeing this fish on a different website, this woman has a video on youtube about her, "Angelo, The Blue-Spotted Jawfish". and explains on the needs of fish. Feeding him is pretty funny.

Angelo, The Blue-Spotted Jawfish - YouTube

She also has a email address for a mesh lid.

I want one too, but their very expensive at apx $95.00

Every night mine goes a bit crazy. I wouldn't have one without a top. I'd hate to lose mine that way. Expensive too, and it's almost guaranteed to happen without a top.

Yeah they are a lot of fun especially when they jump out of the tank.

I had two...with a glass canopy top at the time. Mine would either find their way into the overflow where I would have to syphon it out or they will squeeze their way through a small crack in the glass where the powerhead cord lifted it up.

Love these fish...but are very smart into their own deaths.

I've already gone through 9. I wish I could find a way to keep them from jumping and or dying. It's truly unfortunate.
