Marine mouthbrooders such as cardinalfish are great aquarium fish for the beginning aquarists, especially if they are interested in trying their hand at captive breeding.

I am picking up my first pair of Pajama Cardinals tomorrow :).....One of the LFS here in Knoxville has Banggai Cardinals breeding in their display/coral tank. Some of the brood have made the sump their home, it's no standard sump its a six sectioned tank approx. 10' x 4'.

Here is a photo of them while they were still in the display.....pay no mind to the FW's, they have since been eradicated.
