If his light was low start it low lighting in your tank. Under a ledge if needed. Over weeks get if use to medium light. Or it will become bleached

I did do that its been in my tank 4 weeks and just moved it into more higher light. It would be nice if it was an elegance I may take months to re grow

What type of crab was it? Hermit? Porcelain/Anemone crab? Elegance corals like a sandy substrate because the stony portion is sensitive. Placing it on a rock hinders the grow and extension when opening up.

that was my first thought as well - elegance.....it does look to be pretty stressed but color looks ok. good advice on keeping it low on the sand bed vs. rocks. Good luck with it - such beautiful corals!

It was the crab that makes the coral grow around it. Once I got him out its been opening more and growing fingers

OK how about these snails they only come out at dark and in groves they are tiny
